The New Developers War on Drupal 5

Submitted by Wilbur on Thu, 07/02/2009 - 14:05.

Apparently the Drupal Meta Tags module for D5 is not longer supported.  If you are using Update Status module (like I am) to keep track of new module releases, you will get a notice that you have an unsupported installed.  If you get email notices (like I do) you will get an email each day telling you of this unsupported module.

There's nothing you can do about it - except install D6 - which I am working on on about 20 sites.  So what's the bid deal?

Unlike Version Updates, which can be set to be ignored by version of forever,  Unsupported Modules always automatically trigger an update status notice.  No way to get around that.

So now the unsupportive supporter at Meta Tags has also rendered the Update Status module useless too.

Thanks guys for all the support!
